The Morning

He sat at the edge of the large window of the penthouse. He was in boxers, looking at the rising sun over the beautiful city. The face was emotionless, just staring at the scene in front of his eyes. It all looked enigmatic, but his mind was somewhere else. There was nothing good about this morning. Ordinarily, it would have made a perfect morning to sit here and look out. But not today, not now, not for him!

She stood resting with the wall of kitchen. She had smiled the moment she woke up today. She was in his arms, and he slept like a baby. It was the best feeling ever,it always seemed better than the last time when she opened her eyes in the morning to find herself wrapped around in his arms. She kissed him on his cheek and slowly got up.
And it suddenly disappeared...
It just went away in one swift second...
The Smile was gone!

The kettle whistled! She came out of her thoughts and poured the tea into the cup.She tapped her shoulder and gave him the cup. She tried to give a smile to him. She sat beside him and rested her face on his shoulder.

Only last night they were happy. They were dancing together. They were close. The eyes were locked in each other all the time. They were smiling. Eyes were doing all the talking. They sparkled, they twinkled, they shined.
Later they had talked on and on and on for hours all together. They had eaten together and had gone for a drive. They had felt each other. They had touched each other. They had said all the unsaid things!
Only last night...

Now,she drove silently and he sat along. They reached and got out. No word was spoken. They stood looking at people, looking at things, looking at nothing.
She looked at the watch. She moved closer and hugged him.
And one fell...
then another.....
and another.......
Tears rolled down from her eyes!

They moved apart, she turned and started walking back.

"Don't look back. No, you can't." She told herself. She cried. And she walked.

"Look back once and I would stay back...forever." He thought.

He could still see her, but he turned too.... He turned and walked too!

I don't belong here

A bright blinding light hits your eyes, and whoosh you find yourself in an alien
place. You know if you relax down for just a few seconds, you will find out the
answer to the questions in the mind. But alas! the mind, the mind which has seen
those endless bollywood movie; how can it possibly miss such a chance to ask
the ultimate question:

" Main kaun hoon?"
" Main kahan hoon?"
( All those who aren't familiar with these Godly questions of bollywood movies
here is the interpretation - Who am I? Where am I?)

This is just another race, no let me try a better word - species, of people. They are constantly doing this thing which blows out your senses. The eyes are totally engraved into these thick bundles of sheets made out of the wooden pulp. All these sheets have something tiny scribbled on them. There are some fancy structures made out of lines.

The voices all sound familiar but the things they are talking are again some alien language. The only explanation possible is that they are talking about those scribbled things in those thick bundle of sheets.

So what is someone like me doing in this world of alien thoughts, activities and
talks.[** Creep by Radiohead ~ I dont belong here~]

Probably it is the cosmic conspiracy. I am sure someone is doing this experiment and is very keen on seeing the observations and the results.

One guy would come and start speaking in that unknown language. All others would nod their heads. This must be to tell the speaker to go on. And so would he. The times creeps....creeps.....I think the poor snail would travel few miles in this time. Surprisingly, someone from the listeners would suddenly speak something and the speaker would stop. And once again he would speak...

The time comes and the speaker is finally tired of speaking. No! I think the program completes itself and it has timed out. The group of listener starts moving towards the bunkers. Once again I can see those bundle of sheets lying everywhere.

My head hurts. The nerves scream out loud. It seems it would explode. And my brain would be nothing but a chunk of innumerable small pieces.

I wake up again. Blurry vision...One of the listener is again looking into that thick bundle. I move around the other bunkers. Some more of those listeners are here. All into bundles....bundles ...sheeets....sheets!

"...But I'm a creep,
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here.........."

The Shift Theory

All our lives, god knows how many damn theories we must have read. Read them - some bowled us over , some simply bounced over the heads and some were errr...aaah just something. (Damn I cant even describe it).

For some odd reasons which I really fail to understand I feel like giving one too.

So let me give to you this theory called - The Shift Theory!

" Every individual tends to shift from one entity to other."

The tendency of shifting is directly proportional to given two factors:

1) The Mind's amount of monotonousness.
2) The body's willingness to put in required effort.

Now it is of utmost importance that we understand the mutual relationship of these two factors.

When the mind become a bored shell, it becomes stagnant. There is no doubt that this level of stagnancy varies from an individual to individual. But once you reach this level, there is a deep unrest. There is nothing left to explore (or mind assumes or whatever it wanted to explore it thinks has been explored.)The mind seeks freshness and a new adventure.

Now this instigates the next process in the factors we are talking about. The mind has decided and wants a new field to play in. But it is upto the rest of the body to put in the effort required.

Now a natural question that would incur in your mind is - Effort required for what?
( please if you know the obvious answer or you think this is NOT a natural question or I am forcing this question unnecessarily....guys! This is a freakin' Theory and I have to make it that way ..so please bear)

We should all understand that the mind just wants something new. It is a thought. It is what the mind craves for. Mind may identify a brand new entity which looks very promising. The body would have to work out and actually go and get that entity.
For example :
The body would have to study that entity.
The would have to approach the entity.
[ For detail please refer to the " The Effort Theory"]

If the body successfully delivers the worked out plan... Bingo ! The individual has got the new entity - which is fresh, new, blooming, unexplored ( by the mind in question, may be already explored by others). Now the Mind and body can work and play with this entity which is of deep interest.

Now depending on a number of factors ( not to be mentioned in here as it itself is an area of study) , the mind again reaches the stagnancy after the complete exploration has been done and looks for for a SHIFT!

And hence, the cycle repeats itself!

(*)A few exceptions:
**The mind may get stagnant but the body is not ready to work.
** Mind is stagnant, but individual pushes it to stay in stagnancy, which ultimately results in numbness.

The Experience!

A man is closest to the God when he is creating something. When a painter is painting something close to his heart , a sculptors craving something out of his mind, a musician who has just found the right stroke of the tune, a poet who has found the right word. The moment when a new creation is taking birth. The bond is the strongest. As if the almighty as himself stepped in him. Yeah that close. Closer than close.

One starts moving his feet on a music. The move becomes a movement , the movement shapes into dance, the dance into state of trance, and the state into enlightenment.

One starts reading, reading becomes resonance, resonance becomes visual, the visual becomes a feel, the feel becomes reality, the reality becomes the truth.

There are experiences in life which may become eternal. They might not be as strong as enlightenment. But they are certainly a feel of the force. The power around the universe. The great feeling which cannot be described in words. You may try but it would be like doing injustice to that feeling, to that experience.

Hence, you feel it, you keep it in, you experience it!

You might be lying down under the open sky on a rock. The breeze makes the buzz. It touches our body. The smell fills you pores. You look at the stars. You look and look. The mind starts to ponder. What are these. Yes they are stars, that is moon. But what are they. They are beautiful. They lite up the sky...!
And slowly they drift away....
The mind goes nil, void. You just feel. Everything is just one. The air, the sky, the
soil, the fire. All senses are one.
This is an experience!

You put on your favorite song on loop. You feel good. The music is so soothing. You start humming the words along with it. You sing along. May be you move to it too.
It goes on and on....
You calm down. The sit or lie down at one place. The eyes shut down automatically. The scenes start flowing. The memory goes back. Something, Someone related to that song. You start thinking of that. Start remembering things. You smile. Or a tear falls down from you eye...
And after a while..all is gone. You are still. Mind is empty. All is void. All is nothing. Song plays and you in a different state.

The feeling.
The memory.
The emotions.
The smoothness.
The emptiness.
Void space...

The Experience!

Godly?

Well.....

Almost!

Creature of the Night

He hides his face with the piece on cloth. His eyes hurt from the piercing ray of sun falling on his eyes.He closes them with force. His skin aches from the feel of light. He takes another cloth and tries to block his whole face from light. When he is unable to take it anymore he stands up and closes that window from where that one ray of sun was entering the room and falling on his face. He draws the curtains. He watches with great intent at all possible holes from where light can peek into his room.
Convinced, he sets the cooling with his remote and goes to hibernation.

He moves in his bed, clock says - 3 PM! He needs to feed himself. He switches on loud music. Drums, screams, groans, guitar sounds fill the entire space. He finds a bottle and
a pizza. He grabs bite and gulps the drink. He logs in to the virtual world and stays in for hours.
Its been long. His senses say it is safe now. The time has come. His body feels excited, ready for action. He moves towards the window. Slowly, he moves the curtain an inch and peeps in outside. What a relief, the sun is all set to set!!!

Time for shower! Crisp shirt, a tee over it. Torn jeans, and loads of
Gucci is sprayed. He smells good. He looks good and he feels good.

He steps outside....Darkness. The cool breeze hits his face.
The city twinkles with infinite lights. Stars in the sky!
No sun!

It his time of the day - The night!

He goes to his favorite cafe. A nice meal with brewed coffee to clear his mind. He goes for a long drive in his car. He halts near the sea. He walks to the cliff. Stands there....Feels the air...Hears the
sea waves... Feels the impact...Closes his eyes....!

It is late night. He enters his fort - his workplace. His cabin, his table, his stuff. He looks at it and smiles. Every time he sees it , he feels so excited, so happy and adrenaline rushes in his blood...!

He moves his hands....Scratches on the vinyl and the whole
place is on with loud music and lights!

" Ladies and Gentlemen....Your in House DJ welcomes you....
The Night is progressive....The Life is Progressive.."

He enjoys his work. Rather loves it. He goes on for hours together!
...............
.........
....
..
.

He is drained and tired. He sun may be out soon now. He takes his
car and rushes back home. Safe in his hibernating place, he lies down
and sleeps!

For his time of day has ended!
